The Finance Department (Tax Division), Government of Rajasthan, vide Notification dated 13 August 2026, has amended Schedule-II to the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2025 under Section 9(3) of the Act. A new Serial No. 24 has been inserted in Schedule-II.
The newly added entry is “HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL)”, thereby specifically including the entity in Schedule-II of the Rajasthan VAT Act, 2025. The notification is issued in the public interest under Section 9(3).
The amendment shall come into force with effect from 15 August 2026. Accordingly, HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited will be covered under the relevant provisions applicable to entities/items included in Schedule-II from the effective date.
